AN ALTERNATE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES......

MAY GOD HELP US ALL.

2009- Barack Obama becomes the first black President of the United States. He and the Democrat controlled Congress pass the largest spending packages in the hitsory of our nation. Many begin to question how the nation will pay the bill. His policies represent the largest redistribution of wealth in and the biggest increase in government power in history.

2010- Breaking a campaign promise, President Obama increases taxes on all Americans making over $40,000 a year. The Nation is mired in a continued recession. National Unemployment is in double figures. Republicans gain just 1 seat in the House and lose 2 in the Senate. Massive voter fraud is suspected nationally, but the Obama administration refuses to investigate.

2011- Obama surpasses his own previous record for a single spending bill with his 2nd stimulus package totalling 1.5 Trillion dollars.

2012- Obama is re-elected. Despite national approval rankings below 40%. Again massive voter fraud is suspected, but goes uninvestigated. According to voter roles, 8.4 million more votes were cast than were registered to vote across the nation. Obama finally passes his national health care plan. Millions in private sector medicine become unemployed as the government now completely controls medical and prescription coverage. Texas secedes from the United States to become the Republic of Texas.

2013- The city of Baltimore is partly destroyed when a small scale nuclear device is detonated on a ship in the Baltimore harbor. It is leaked that the Obama administration had no idea of the impending attack. Intelligence gathering budget has been cut more than 50% since Obama took office. Group claiming responsibility is headed by a former Guantanamo Bay detainee who was released by the Obama administration in 2010. Texas moves to eject all illegal aliens and send back families claiming citizenship through anchor babies. The Fairness Doctrine is enacted. This revives the sattelite radio industry as radio personalities Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, and Beck take to the air through sattelite communications. Obama is furious.

2014 May- Bill Ayers is murdered on the steps of his Chicago home. Within two days, the reverend Jeremiah Wright, a frequent visitor to the White House after having renewed his position as Obama's spiritual advisor is also slain outside his home. The United States financial system struggles under extreme government control. 70% of the American Public is now dependent on the government for financial and medical care. Only 7.5% of all jobs are not considered under direct government control.

2014 September- Obama's Citizens Police Force begins patrolling the streets of American cities.

2015- California is bankrupt and insolvent. Anarchy is in the streets of all major urban areas. There are no public services. Obama declares martial law and sends in the military to supress the violence. Over 8,000 Americans are killed in the violence. Order is not restored as the military withdraws. Obama declares it a lost cause. Israel is attacked by an alliance of Iran and Syria. Nuclear detonations destroy Tel Aviv and Tehran. Obama refuses to aid Israel other than in negotiations.

2016- Under threat of a new terror attack, Congress suspends National elections and allows Obama to remain in office indefinitely to deal with the crisis. This is a clear conflict of the 22nd amendment. His negotations with various mideast leaders fails to net custody of those responsible for the nuclear attack against Baltimore. Congress enacts a law declaring public criticism of Obama as treason. The CPF begins arresting American citizens for "treasonous statements against the government".

2017 March- The States of Montana, Idaho, Alaska,Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, The western counties of Maryland join the state of Wet Virginia, The Central counties of Pennsylvania, all declare the Constitution void and secede from the United States to form the Free Republic of the United States under President Bobby Jindal and Vice President Sean Hannity. New Orleans is the New National Capital. The Constitution is re-adopted and declared the supreme law of the land. The new nation immediately severs all ties with the former United States, which it deems a socialist mockery of its former self. Welfare fraud in the new Free Republic of the U.S.A. is investigated closely and is punishable by a sentence of hard labor. Only .35% of the new nations population receives food stamps or other government disability benefits.

2017 August- The Free Republic begins drilling for oil off the coast of Mexico and in Alaska.

2018 March- Obama announces he is Muslim. There is unrest again in many of his cities. It is quelled by the military and the CPF.

2018 April- Texas and the Free Republic become formal allies and trading partners. Both allies immediately move to send troops to Mexico with the goal of creating a larger buffer area between the nations in order to hinder illegal immigration. Both nations begin a joint policy of evicting illegal aliens. Mexico has no formal government. Drug lords control all Mexico's states. The Free Republic of the USA, along with troops from Australia land in Israel to assist in driving invaders from Israeli soil. Obama protests through the United Nations and asks for sanctions.

2018 November- Canada is bankrupted by its inability to sustain national health care.

2019- Former Body builder, actor, and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger wins best actor at the Academy Awards Now conducted in New York,. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's private jet, also carrying Senate leader Harry Reid, plunges into the Potomac river. There are no survivors.

2020- Colorado, New Mexico, New Hampshire, and parts of Florida outside of Miami-Dade county, petition the Free Republic of the U.S.A. for admission as states. Once again, Mickey Mouse is free. Texas Speaker of the House, David Milliman, a Jewish attorney, is elected President of the Republic of Texas.

2027- With a booming economy, and in celebration of its tenth birthday, the Free Republic of the U.S.A. is able to finance the first human mission to Mars which returns after a successful mission to the red planet. It is a cooperative mission with the Republic of Texas. President Milliman shakes the hand of mission commander, Texas Air Force Colonel Moyers as he exits the spacecraft, "Reagan".

Leslie.....

She was the most beautiful woman I had seen in my life. Tall, long legs, perfect body, long dark hair , and a wonderful smile. She walked down the hall to pass me, obviously in contest mode. Her attitude had switched from the sweet girl I knew to all business as she prepared to go downstairs and go on stage in her skimpy string bikini in an attempt to win $500.00. I had known her and become friends with her over the past few years as we both worked at the same club. Leslie was every guys dream.

The only problem was that she was dead. What the hell was she doing here now? It was impossible and here she was walking past me, saying hello, and concentrating on walking sexy in her high heels. I was confused. It was impossible for her to be there. She had died of cancer almost 9 years ago. Yet here she was. This was wrong and I didn't know what to think when I suddently realized how surrreal it all seemed.

It was then i figured it out. I was dreaming, but this was real. There she was, yet it had to be a dream. I ran back down the hall and stopped her. I had to tell her. I said" Leslie please wait, I need to talk to you". She replied, "you have to be quick, I'm going onstage in a few minutes". I asked her "how did you get here?". "What the heck do you mean, I drove myself" she excliamed. I was getting flustered, as I said "You should'nt be here". She said "Andy your a goddamned retard!" I was almost in a panic as I told her, "Leslie, we have been freinds for a long time right?" "Yes" she replied. I continued, "You know I would not screw around with you. We are friends and I wouldn't lie to you" She agreed. I said, "well then you have to believe me. I thought you were dead. You should'nt be here".

"Now I know your nuts" she said, obviously getting pissed. So I grabbed her by her shoulders and held her tight as I told her that I knew she had gotten sick and didn't make it. I also told her what her life had become. Fallen in with the wrong people. Pulled into the life of a porn actress by the lure of money and fame. That I had been to her funeral.

She could tell I was dead serious and began to be afraid and started to cry as some part of what I was saying had sunk in. She maybe was starting to believe me. I asked "Wait a minute, what year is this?" She said "1990". I was shocked because as far as I knew it was 2009. Nineteen years later. I again thought I was dreaming, but suddenly I felt something was changing. My God! I thought, I'm waking up, I have to tell her. "Leslie, I stammered, you have to go to the doctor right away". "What for" she asked". I said "You have to go to get checked for ........

"No WAIT, Stop....Noooooooo!

I awoke shaking and listening to the sound of my wife's quiet snoring. I lay there for a few minutes before the alarm went off. It was all a dream. I was back in the reality of 2009. When the alarm went off. Sherri got up from bed, stretched and asked if I wanted breakfast before we left for the day to go shopping. I said" nahh, we will get something out" After a few minutes, I got dressed and went downstairs. As I sat in my favorite chair to tie my shoes, the sound of my cell phone ringing and Dean Martin's crooning voice broke my thoughts. I picked it up and a familiar voice said "You guys up, I'm pulling up out front. You're still going aren't you? "Yes", I replied. A few seconds later, I answered the door and there stood Leslie. At age 45, her bikini contest days were long gone, she had a tired, look about her but still had the same pretty eyes and bright smile. Seems years ago, she had been warned in a scary way by a good friend that she had better go to the doctor to get checked. They found the cancer when it had just started and after a few monthes of treatment she had beaten in entirely. In 2009, Leslie was alive and well and been friends with both of us for years. To our kids she was "Aunt Leslie".........

.....and then I woke up for real. It was indeed 2009, and Leslie was still in her grave 9 years now.

The Wisdom of Thomas Jefferson applied to our Congress and the Obama stimulus plan:

Congress / Government
A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.

When a man assumes a public trust he should consider himself a public property.

I own that I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive.

Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

No government ought to be without censors.

Power

Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

I hope our wisdom will grow with our power, and teach us, that the less we use our power the greater it will be.

Liberty vs Tyranny

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Bill of Rights

A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference.

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Nothing is unchangeable but the inherent and unalienable rights of man.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Fairness Doctrine

Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.

Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.

Information is the currency of democracy.

(The Liberals seek to stop conservative talk radio from enlightening the people about liberal actions and the free expression of ideas between people across the nation. Senator Stabineux (D- Michigan) is the leading advocate of the Fairness Doctrine. Most people don't know that her husband is the former V.P. of failed liberal radio network Air America. They couldn't beat Rush, Sean, and Mark Levin in the ratings, so she will use her power to defeat them for her husband's cause. Anyone else see a gross misuse of power?)

The Obama Stimulus Plan

Delay is preferable to error.
~(why such a hurry Mr. President? Are you afraid people will find out what's really in your plan?)

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes.

Never spend your money before you have earned it.

Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence.
~(this power grab by the federal government will destroy our future)

Peace and abstinence from European interferences are our objects, and so will continue while the present order of things in America remain uninterrupted.
~(yet we are now about to adopt a European socialist economic plan? Why?)

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

Congratulations to Michael Steele !

Congratulations to former Md. Lt. Governor Michael Steele on being elected the new chairman of the Republican National Committee.

I was lucky enough to have had Mr. Steele visit my classroom at the Juvenile Justice Center in Baltimore a few years ago. I found him to be a fine gentleman who inspired others to follow his leadership. I am quite sure that Mr. Steele, a solid conservative, will bring the dignity, fortitude, and message back to the Republican party that it has sorely been lacking in recent years. I wish him good luck and look forward to good things from him.
