Congratulations to Michael Steele !

Congratulations to former Md. Lt. Governor Michael Steele on being elected the new chairman of the Republican National Committee.

I was lucky enough to have had Mr. Steele visit my classroom at the Juvenile Justice Center in Baltimore a few years ago. I found him to be a fine gentleman who inspired others to follow his leadership. I am quite sure that Mr. Steele, a solid conservative, will bring the dignity, fortitude, and message back to the Republican party that it has sorely been lacking in recent years. I wish him good luck and look forward to good things from him.

OBAMA ALREADY A CRIMINAL!

Not one week in office and newly elected (by Acorn) President Barack Obama has committed a heinous crime. First let me remind you all what he said when he took the oath of office:

"I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Is he truly an idiot? ....or....Is he truly that arrogant?

Doesn't he realize that he swore to protect the Constitution of the United States? Yet he has spent a large part of his first week in office attacking the likes of Rush Limbaugh and other conservative radio talking heads. Now I am not a big fan of Limbaugh and sometimes I think he goes a bit too far. However, I respect his right to say what he wants politically and his right to be heard. People have the right not to listen to him also. We don't need OBAMA, telling us what radio programs to listen to. We can choose that for ourselves.

Obama is violating his oath of office when he intentionally fails to protect the right of Free Speech for every single American citizen whether they agree with him or not.

For the past 8 years, I had to listen to future Obama supporters at my job totally trash President Bush at every opportunity. Not only did they trash him, but the most common phrase I heard associated with him was "F&%K BUSH". It was completely repulsive behavior. But yet I never thought for a second that they did not have their right to say what they want about any government figure. Our nation was founded on the right to criticize and question our leadership. Now Obama wants to take away that right or dictate how it must be used in a way that he can not be criticized. This is a crime against our most basic laws and most sacred right.

I CALL FOR THE IMPEACHMENT OF PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA IMMEDIATELY FOR HIGH CRIMES AGAINST THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND, THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION.

The only permissable censorship should be the right of a parent to control their child's access to objectionable materials.

The Economy...

So what to do about the economy?

If I had a say, everyone involved with the Fanny and Freddie debacle would be on their way to jail.

That includes:

Obama financial advisors, Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, former CEO's of the FM's, while they were handing out these billions in bad loans. They took millions in bonuses. Rahm Emmanuel, Obama chief of staff, board member of Fanny Mae in 2003, when they were found to be cooking the books in order to inflate profit numbers and get themselves bonuses.

Congressman Barney Frank, the fruitcake chairman of the House banking committee who protected the above thieves with protective legisaltion or ignoring needed legisaltion to benefit them. While taking lobbyist money from them as well. You might remember he was the guy who had a homosexual prostitution ring running out of his DC appartment and got away with it.

Senator Chris Dodd, failed presidential candidate, Chariman of the Senate banking committee who also took more money than anyone in history from the FM's. He also used his position to protect their incompetence.

Bill Clinton, who harassed the FM'S to give out more loans to people with bad credit just so he could get votes and probably a nice payout as well.

As for the billions in bailout money given out to various corprations, I would not have given them a damn penny. Most of them misused the money they were given anyway. I would have let them all fold. Every last one of them, including the automakers.

Let the strong survive, the weak will go away, and make sure the regulations wont allow continued abuses.

My next car will be a foreign car, just to piss off the UAW. They would rather see our nation's economy fail, then give up their country club memberships. The UAW leadership is nothing but a gang of thugs who use intimidation to control members and influence elections.

I would have a major tax cut to benefit every TAXPAYER, including business. Tax cuts for business who make new hires would be enacted. In fact, I think a tax holiday of a few months would be in order to get things rolling again.

Audit the hell out of ACORN and make sure those rats can never steal another election with the millions of fraudulent votes they are responsible for. You assholes may be protected by the mass media, but WE TRUE AMERICANS still know what you are doing.

DRILL BABY DRILL!!! Screw the Arabs. Drill off our shores andon our land. Not only does it create cheaper oiul. It would create hundreds of thousands if not millions of American jobs. Politicians get the ragheads out of your pockets and help Americans. That will get you re-elected, not muslim money.

Begin a withdrawal from Iraq as soon as possible. Those savages over there will never accept democracy. When we leave, there is going to be a civil war in Iraq sponsored by terrorism. Why waste more money on it. After we are out, I would make it quite clear, screw with us and you will regret it. Kill one American, we will kill 1,000 of you raghead bastards. Support and defend Israel!

Shut the damn border for Chris-sakes and ship the illegals back over to Mexico and wherever else they came from. Stop giving away American jobs. Increase penalties for Americans who hire them. If they want jobs, they can be soldiers for the drug lords who control 18 Mexican states now.

..and while we are at it, throw out of office, everyone of the Republican cowards who went along with the bailouts and who will sign on to Obama's stimulus bill. Don't you morons realize that the reason Obama is harassing you for cooperation is because even he knows it's a disaster about to happen and he wants to be able to blame it on you. Grow some testicles and stay clear of it.

Another thing that may be unrelated to the above but already disgusts me is all the liberals whining on talk radio that people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are disrespecting Obama by not referring to him as "President Obama"...aka the Messiah. I have news for you clowns; The past 8 years I have worked in an education facility and never once heard someone say "President Bush". But I can estimate with confidance that I heard tha term "FU#K BUSH !" hundreds of times and what about the times you said he was comparable to Hitler? Guess that wasn't disrespectful? The way things are going anyway, it will soon be illegal to even criticize Obama as our most sacred rights of the First Amendement get flushed down the toilet.

The right to criticize our leaders without fear of reprisals is what this nation was founded on. You can all kiss my big hairy white backside because you will never ever get me to believe the President George W. Bush was ever anything but a great gentleman, who loved his country and did whatever he could to keep us, including keeping my family safe. God Bless this Great Man!

The Richmond Redeemer

This is a true story that I found while doing some independent research on President Abraham Lincoln today. I think it should be spread around to everyone:

The Richmond Redeemer
The first positive proof that the Civil War had ended was a wire from Richmond, the capital of the Confederacy, saying that the Confederate officials and army had abandoned the city.

While Stanton, Lincoln's Secretary of War, was away visiting troops, Lincoln ignored Stanton's recommendations and decided to visit Richmond. When his steamship landed at the Richmond harbor, he made his way to the town, only to find he was mobbed by former slaves who recognized him and fell on their knees before him, exclaiming their thanks over their deliverance.

Besides "Mr. President", some of the other phrases of address were "Savior" and "Redeemer".
Lincoln answered their cries with an order: "Don't kneel to me- it isn't right!" "You must kneel to God only," he continued, "and thank him for the liberty you now enjoy. I am but God's humble instrument but you may rest assured, that as long as I live, you shall have all the rights which God has given to every other free citizen of the Republic."

I submit to every person who reads this to consider that many of Barack Obama's followers have referred to him as the "Messiah", yet he has not even done anything but be a candidate for President as yet. Lincoln was arguably our greatest President who saved our nation from being torn apart. The greatest accomplishment of any President in our history, and he refused the titles which Obama has yet to publicly refute. It is the height of arrogance for any person to assume greater honors and accomplishment than our greatest leader, Lincoln, when he has yet to do anything at all for his country.

It is simply a disgrace and a blasphemy before God that he has not refuted these acclamations.

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

What's in a name?

I listened to Sean Hannity today and one of the topics of discussion was the use of Barack Hussein Obama's full name. It seems he planned on using it at his inauguration despite the fact that his liberal followers/ apologists / kool-aid drinkers vilified anyone who used it during the campaign. If a conservative used it, apparently it was only to imply that Obama was associated with terrorism.

So I decided to do a little research into his names. I found references to various spelling of his middle name being all essentially the same name. Hussein, Hasan, Husayn, etc are essentially the same difference as Sean and Shawn. Also interesting was the variations of his first name, Barack. This also had various spellings including Barakaat, all meaning "the blessed one".

So what really is in a name? Why shouldn't we associate Barack Hussein Obama's name with terrorism? Well according to the United Nations Security council list of known terrorists associated with the Talibam and Al-Qaida, the following are other who share the same names as Obama. All are Muslim terrorists and responsible for the deaths of thousands around the world. I still remember that Obama's school records listed him as Muslim while attending a Muslim school in Indonesia. Yet I can't ever recall any story about his conversion to Christianity.

So we are all free t think what we want, but you will never convince me otherwise that Obama is not secretly a Muslim and may someday be far more open about it.

Many of the Republican soldiers had already surrendered to Caesar in previous campaigns and had then deserted his army to rejoin Pompeius: they would fight with desperation, fearing that they would not be pardoned a second time (indeed Caesar had hitherto executed prisoners). After an unsuccessful ploy designed to lure the Pompeians down the hill, Caesar ordered a frontal attack (with the watchword "Venus", the goddess reputed to be his ancestor).

The fighting lasted for some time without a clear advantage for either side, causing the generals to leave their commanding positions and join the ranks. As Caesar himself later said he had fought many times for victory, but at Munda he had to fight for his life. Caesar took command of his right wing, where his favorite X Equestris was involved in heavy fighting. With Caesar’s inspiration the tenth legion began to push back Pompeius' forces. Aware of the danger, Gnaeus Pompeius removed a legion from his own right wing to reinforce the threatened left wing. However, as soon as the Pompeian right wing was thus weakened, Caesar's cavalry launched a decisive attack which turned the course of the battle. King Bogud of Mauritania and his cavalry, Caesar's allies, attacked the rear of the Pompeian camp. Titus Labienus, commander of the Pompeian cavalry, saw this maneuver and moved to intercept them. Unfortunately for Pompeius, his legionaries misinterpreted the situation. Already under heavy pressure on both the left (from Legio X) and right wings (the cavalry charge), they thought Labienus was retreating. The Pompeian legions broke their lines and fled in disorder. Although some were able to find refuge within the walls of Munda, many more were killed in the rout. At the end of the battle there were about 30,000 Pompeians dead on the field; losses on Caesar’s side were much lighter, only about 1,000. All thirteen standards of the Pompeian legions were captured, a sign of complete disbandment. Titus Labienus died on the field and was granted a burial by Caesar, while Gnaeus and Sextus Pompeius managed to escape from the battlefield.

What remains a mystery is the exact location of Munda. Some Spanish historians assert Munda is the Roman name for Ronda, where the battle of Munda may have been fought (Rafeal Atienzas Huertas, 1857). Other experts assert Munda was fought in Osuna, in the province of Seville, about 50 kilometers north of Ronda (Pliny). Unfortunately, no archaeologist has definitively proved where Munda was fought. What is clear is that the Munda conflict was no mop-up operation. Tens of thousands of Romans died at Munda, where Caesar fought for his life among the ranks. After Munda, Gnaeus was executed and Pompeii's son Sextus survived to fight another day, as a leader of Mediterranean pirates based in Sicily, where he was caught by Augustus and executed in 35 BC, ten years after Munda.

Matt and Me

I have been working as a rec football official for the past 23 years. During that time, I've met thousands of people. Some of them even very well known. During this past season I was lucky enough to have worked 4 games involving the 9-11 team from Lutherville in Baltimore county. One day I looked a certain 11 year old in the eye and saw his name on the back of his jersey. "This kid looks real familiar" I thought. Then I realized who he was when I saw him talk to his dad on the sidelines. He looked just like his famous dad, Matt Stover. Most of you know that Matt is the 19 year veteran and hopefully future Hall of Fame kicker for the Ravens. So me not being bashful, at halftime I went over and introduced myself to Matt.

He turned out to be a great guy and was very complimentary as to the job we were doing on the field that day. When an NFL player says you were doing great as a ref, that makes you feel fantastic. I got to see Matt several more times over the season as he came to watch his son's games and each time had a good time talking with him. He's one of the finest and most humble gentlemen you could ever meet. So here is a picture of Matt and I that I got someone to take with my cell phone that first time we met. I'm hoping Matt decides to stick around and stays a Raven for a lot longer.

Katie Couric, Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams and a tough old U.S. Marine Sergeant were captured by terrorists in Iraq .
The leader of the terrorists told them he'd grant each of them one last request before
they were beheaded and dragged naked through the streets.
Katie Couric said,
'Well, I'm a Southerner, so I'd like one last plate of fried chicken.'

The leader nodded to an underling who left and returned with the chicken.
Couric ate it all and said, 'Now I can die content.'Charlie Gibson said,
'I'm living in ' New York , so I'd like to hear the song, The Moon and Me, one last time.'
The terrorist leader nodded to another terrorist who had studied the Western world and knew the music.
He returned with some rag-tag musicians and played the song.
Gibson was satisfied.
Brian Williams said,
'I'm a reporter to the end. I want to take out my tape recorder and describe the scene here and what's about to happen.
Maybe, someday, someone will hear it and know that I was on the job till the end.'
The leader directed an aide to hand over the tape recorder and Williams dictated his comments.

He then said, 'Now I can die happy.'
The leader turned and said,
'And now, Mr. U.S. Marine, what is your final wish?

'Kick me in the ass,' said the Marine.
'What?' asked the leader, 'Will you mock us in your last hour?'
'No, I'm NOT kidding. I want you to kick me in the ass,' insisted the Marine.
So the leader shoved him into the yard and kicked him in the ass.
The Marine went sprawling, but rolled to his knees,
pulled a 9 mm pistol from inside his cammies and shot the leader dead.
In the resulting confusion, he emptied his sidearm on six terrorists,
then with his knife he slashed the throat of one, and with an AK-47, which he took,
sprayed the rest of the terrorists killing another 11.
In a flash, all of them were either dead or fleeing for their lives.
As the Marine was untying Couric, Gibson, and Williams, they asked him,
'Why didn't you just shoot them all in the first place?
Why did you ask him to kick you in the ass?'
'What?' replied the Marine, 'and have you three assholes report that I was the aggressor....?

WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE TENTH LEGION

In case anyone is wondering, the significance of the Tenth Legion is that it was Julius Caesar's favorite legion that was personally recruited by him. It became his most fearsome legion in time and was always given the place of honor at the right end of Caesar's battle lines. The job of the 10th, along with Caesar's Germanic cavalry auxilary, was to smash the flank of the enemy and roll up their battle lines. The tenth never failed Caesar in this.

This blog will be about all the things I am interested in or will become intersted in. Sometimes I may simply use it to bitch about life in general and all the drama that seems to follow me around without end. Damn I hate drama! Sometimes you just have to say "WTF" to all the drama.
